Review of Ultimate Spider-man vol. 4 and 5

I just have to say I love Ultimate Spider-man. But these are by far my favorites. These books are just full of Action, Drama and real problems. Peter and Mary Jane are written so well ( Thanks to Brian Michael Bendis, and don't forget incredible art by Mark Bagley) and I love how young they make them. So let me get started. In vol. 4 Peter Parker is grounded for events that happened in vol. 3. Harry Osborn then returns to school after being gone since vol. 1. But eventually Peter finds out that Norman was never dead after there first fight in vol. 1. Norman of course has big plans that nearly kill everyone Spidey holds dear. It was very good and also the first time I saw Spider-man throw up. In vol. 5 it picks with Peter ( with a awsome new haircut) trying to get out of school after seeing a news feed that the Rhino was destroying New York. After getting out school at last Spidey gets to the scene only to find that the Golden Avenger ( Iron Man) has already stopped the monster. In chapter 2 of it shows Spider-man robbing a bank. Peter knows that this is a foney and goes after him only to be shot by the Police. My favorite volume by far, Ultimate Spider-man  vol. 5 has a lot of change in it such as the death of Captain George Stacy which forces Gwen Stacy to move in with the Parkers, or the my favorite break up of all time, the break up of Mary Jane and Peter Parker. For the new year comes new blog posts from the Anything Comic Book Blog.

Batman's betrayel section 2

Black is all Batman saw. He had been shot in his heart. He knew many different types of methods to slow down the  heart, but it would be hard to make his heart pump again in the situation that he was in. Then he remembered that there were two gun shots. The woman was most likely dead. He kept trying to reach his com link but it was to much for his body and after a while he began to drift. "MASTER BRUCE!!!!!!!!". He was awake. He was in The Batcave. "Is that you, Alfred? Ho.... how did you know I needed help?"Bruce said. "I put a pulse reader in your suit. When it started to drop I tracked you down and brought you back hear."said Alfred. "You've been out for two week's, sir.You would have died if I hadn't got you at the time I did. I'ts not everyday you can do heart surgery. I wanted you to where that body armor Mr. Fox gave you.". "The woman I was trying to save is dead, Alfred. I can't fail like that again. I thought I had a edge over my enemy's. But now, I'm seeing that fade away.". "You can always get things back. Even you're level of darkness. Also sir, Ms. Gabby called while you were out. It turns out Bob has been posing domestic threats on her. I've tracked the call for you. They're in a apartment building on Cardner Blv. She sounded quite urgent.". "Where's my suit, Alfred? I need to go stop this. Lock the directions into the Batmobile.". "With all due respect sir, You are still healing from a shot in the heart. I could however transfer the direction's to the G.C.P.D. and have them end this madness." "NO. There could be a bigger picture that might I have to handle on my own. Carol Gabby and Bob Simon are both workers at Wayne tech.. The reason Bob might be posing domestic threats on Carol is because he wants her do something for him. Something that might have to deal with Wayne tech.. They both have access to the science division of the building. If it has anything to do with that part of the building it could be dangerous. But I also have the codes to the building. And it would be very long to transfer codes like that. So I need my suit, please. With or without Body armor.". "Very well, sir. I shall fetch your tights.". Once Alfred got the suit Bruce was off. He parked the Batmobile behind the apartment building and planned out his tactics. Batman decided to go threw the window. "You better do as I say! Or else your going right out that window. I heard you call that rich guy!" said Bob. "Please I'll give you what you want. Just let me go." said Carol. Bob slapped her. Right then Batman crashed threw the window. He punched Bob in his gut. Once Bob fell to the floor Batman began to interrogate. "WHY DO YOU NEED HER, YOU STUPID PIECE OF CRAP?!!! I'll EAT YOU ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!". "I'm not tellin you nothin." said Bob. This made Batman very angry. He grasped both of Bob's legs and crumbled them. Then he took Bob's head and ripped all his hair out and crippled his nose. "ALRIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" said Bob crying. "The Russian Mafia was in a downfall after there recent battle with Maroni. They turned to selling weapons as there main thing until they could get back up. They decided to steal weapons from Wayne tech. and sell them . Covering up there tracks by making it seem like a new weapon import for the company. But when they did it they didn't have any codes to get in. I was in the building at the time and forced me to give them the codes. Then they got into Mr. Fox's weapon division and stole most weapons. I got money for helping them. Since Mr. Fox doesn't like me that much and since I all that money I decided to quit my job and finally get engaged with Carol. But it turns out she never heard about what happened and today when she saw it on the news she was about to try and trace the weapons but then I..... well then you came.". "What else do you know?" said Batman. "N....AGGHE!!!. Bob was shot dead. "Move!!!!!" shouted Batman. He grappled out of the building. He saw the killer. it was Deadshot. Batman was trying to catch him but Deadshot shot his grapple. Batman was falling to his doom. He got his Batmobile caller and called the car just in time. He hurled into the car but no bones were broken. "ALFRED!!" he said when he got back to the cave. "Yes, master Bruce." Alfred said. "Deadshot's teamed up with the Russian again. Turn on the news." Bruce said. Alfred turned it on. "This just in, Deadshot has killed 40 people in one minute." 

Batman's betrayel section 1

Bruce Wayne had attended a engagement party for his business friends Carol Gabby and Bob Simon."It's great to see you Carol!!" said Bruce when he saw her. "How you been, Carol? I'm very happy for you and Bob.". "Thank you Bruce. How are you and Julie?" said Carol. "Couldn't be better!". "Look Bruce, me and Bob were wondering if you were available tonight and wanted to see a play with us. Would you want to go with us, Bruce?". Bruce looked into the sky. It was pitch black. "Sorry Carol, but I have some thing's to do. Say hi to Bob for me, okay."Bruce said. he went into a back alley and changed. Gotham was quiet that night. Batman didn't have much to do. But then, someone screamed. Batman glided toward the scream. And then he saw it. A man was beating a woman. "I hate you!!!!" said the man. "You won't get away with that you little bi......." the man was cut off by a kick in the head by Batman. But Batman lost his balance after the kick and fell. When he got to his feet The man had a gun at the woman's head. Batman didn't know what to do. The thick cold metal point blank at the lady's temple. This was Batman's first hostage situation. Batman took out a Batarang. Now the gun was nearly in the lady's head. "I'll shoot her, I'm serious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!". Batman threw the batarang at the man. The man dodge it. He shot the woman. Batman closed in. The man shot Batman. All Bruce could feel was his whole body begin to foam. His mind went dead. He was shot in the heart........

Batman Earth 11

Gotham City, 1957.... Thomas Wayne was what people called a Joc. He was the all-star football player at Gothamets High. He was 17 and lived in a big mansion with his Mom and Dad Curtis and Liz Wayne who were the richest people in Gotham. His Father was the founder of the Wayne train station.  Eventually threw that year he became a member of a Greaser gang called the Grease Felons who would torment the Fire Station each night. After a while he stopped playing football and strictly became a Greaser. A few days later........ "AYYYYYYY!!!!! Tommy I be'n looking for ya!" said Johnny, one of the other Greaser felons. "Where ya been, man? Me and the guys were planning on going to Aprters at 9:00 tonight.". "Sorry, Johnny, but I gotta help my dad with another save Gotham project in the East End at that time." said Thomas. ''Yeah yeah, I know you, still a daddy's boy. Don't you wanna get a apartment or somthin for awhile... figure things out for yourself? Before lo......" "Look at the crudders having there cute boys talk!!" said a person behind Thomas. "What are you doing hear, you dunce!" said Johnny madly. It was Jack Napier. The leader of the new Greaser gang called the Jokers. "You Kindergarteners need to stay out of are business!" said Johnny. "Oh we will Johnny, we will. After you meet my gang at the fire station tonight at 9:00." "Alright, we will. My word of hatred!" said Johnny. Napier walked away. "Why would you do that, Johnny?! I said had stuff to do with my dad!!!!". "I can take the gang by myself. We need to show Napier and his Pumpkin head gang we're number 1 and that it's gonna stay that way! You can still show if you change your mind." said Johnny. After Johnny Left Thomas was picked up by his Mom and they went home. Threw the car ride Thomas spoke about his classes and Not about Napier. It turns out Thomas never told his parents that he was a Greaser and thought that if he did it would ruin the family name. When Got home Tommy went up to his bedroom to think things out. And the answer was quite obvious........       

Jackie Ormes is the first African American female cartoonist. She entertained a audience of blacks threw the years 1937-1956 with her characters Patty Joe, Candy, Torchy Brown and Ginger. Her characters were also shown in black newspaper like The Chicago Defender and Pittsburgh Courier. One thing I do notice is that her artwork is similar to Steve Ditko's who drew Spider-Man in the early 60's.A fact about Jackie Ormes. Jackie Ormes was born in Monongahela, Pennsylvania. She eventually became a proofreader for the Pittsburgh Courier.  

Watts of troulble

 Sandman will overcome Peter but we are still not there yet. 3 hours before Spideys doom he was blown out of a plane into a flower field. When he awoke he was hit by Maxwell Dillon a.k.a. Electro. "Your in WATTS OF TROUBLE BUG!!!!!!!!!" he said. "Where am I, Dillon? Talk fast or your ears will suffer one of my lame jokes." said Peter. Right after that Electro blasted Peter out of the flower field. Peter then got up and started running."You scared bug! I'll still find you." said Max. He boosted off into the forest. He then blasted all the trees in the forest down to the ground. "You actually bout the running away thing? You are now ranked the lowest in my Rouges Gallery." said Peter jumping from behind Max. Max then did a full blast that blew threw the whole flower field knocking Peter into a bush. Peter stayed in the bush for a couple of minutes while Max destroying everything in his path. Then Peter got a idea. Nearby there was a waterfall behind a mountain. He would make Max angry so he would Peter over the mountain and into the water. Peter then got out of the bush and Max webbed Max at his one of his hands. "Cursed webbing." he said. "Don't say that right in front of it's face." said Peter. Peter then kicked Max in the head. "I'll kill you no matter what. Even if that means putting Sandman's offer on the line." "Are we in New Zealand?" asked Peter. "Because if we are that means I have to deal with Marko too.". Right after that Max blasted Spider-man knocking him out. When Peter Awoke he was at the tallest point of the mountain he was trying to get Electro on. "Yes we are in New Zealand." said Max. Peter spider-sense was sensing something behind him. Peter turned his head and said "This day just keeps getting worse doesn't it?". "Not for me it doesn't." said Sandman.

Death for Achranids

"Your finished Marko!!" Spider-man said running towards him. "I'm happy to see you angry bug." Right then Spider-man and Sandman went at it. But Sandman was too strong for Peter that time and killed him. And that makes it a... DEATH FOR ACHRADNIDS!!!!!! But to make this story make sense we must go back 6 hours. After Peter was blown off the building the killers loaded him onto the plane they had came in. 1 day later one of the killers went to the back of the plane and checked Peters body. But while the guard was checking Peters body he noticed Peter had a heartbeat. He alerted some of the guys to come to the back of the plane to check it out.  They checked some more and even took off his mask. But threw the process of checking Spider-man Peter woke up. "What happended?" Thought Peter. But one of the killers saw him open his eyes and said " He's awake!". Peter kicked two of the guys in the chest and webbed up another guy. Then he put his mask on went up to the front of the plane. But then his Spider-sense went off and a killer with a pocket knife jumped from the pilot seat. "Darn it!! We were almost in New Zealand!" he said. "New Zealand?" said Peter puzzled. Then he went out of the way of the knife and punched him into the controls blowing up the plane. Peter was blown out of the plane to his thought to be death. Sometime later he awoke in a huge field of flowers. "Where am I? he said. "Shouldn't you just be happy your alive so I can kill you for real." said a unknown person behind Peter. Peter looked behind himself and was knocked back to the ground by Maxwell Dillon. Also known as Electro.

Spidey goes to New Zealand! The craziest story ever!!

Recently Spider-man had sent Sandman threw a machine that was believed to have thrown Sandman more than likely out of this country and might have accidently killed him. But somewhere out in a forest in New Zealand Flint Marko was forming back into the villain known as Sandman!! Back in New York Peter Parker was resting after his brutal battle with The Lizard. He couldn't really sleep because he kept thinking would he have super villains if his Uncle Ben was still alive. He kept asking himself the same question and eventually dosed off. When Peter woke up he got ready very quickly because school started in three minutes. He kissed his Aunt May goodbye went out the door and got on the bus. When all the students were in the classroom and in there in there seats Peters Spider-sense told him to duck and when he did a bullet went right over his head and in to the chalk board. Peter looked back and saw two burglars and they said "Nobody move! We'll be staying here for some hours until the cops stop looking for us". Right then the two burglars tied everybody up with rope they had and put the people on the roof. Peter started to struggle and one of the burglars saw and threw him off the building. The burglar was to careless to look down on the ground that right after that Spider-man jumped up to the building and punched him. Then he webbed up the other burglar and kicked him. "The kid who was just pushed off the building is fine." said Spidey. "That was awsome  Spider-man!!" said Flash Thompson. ''Why thank you fellow citizen.". That night after school was done Peter stayed up late to finish a book he was reading. Once he finished it he turned on the TV and the news was on. But after 15 minutes of Peter watching the news a reporter said " An extreme hostage situation is going on in New Zealend. The villain the Sandman has kidnapped 45 children and said he will kill them all if Spider-man doesn't show.". Peter ran and got his web shooters , belt and suit but then he thought " I can't leave Aunt May. But I can't leave those children to die. Which will it be." Peter had never done something like this but he went to bed. The next morning he felt very guilty about what he had done. But then when Peter went to get on the bus 1 mile away all of the city of Queens was on fire. Peter secretly turned into Spider-man and when he got to Queens he jumped on the only building that hadn't exploded. But right when he landed that building exploded too. Spider-man was dead.

Gotham is DEAD!!!! part 1one

 Robin had become the new big thing in Gotham City after Batman. At this point in his career he had become the leader of the new superhero group The Teen Titans  a.k.a. Young Justice authoritys. He had started a solo career out of Batman. Gotham was becoming worst at the minute with all the henchman looking for new people to join in with them. Mobs were having secret lookouts all over town and nobody knew where Jim Gordon was. But 14 miles out of Gotham Bruce Wayne and his ward Richard Dick Grayson were in there secret hideout located under Wayne Manor. They had been trying to get old and new files of gang members who had been missing for weeks without a trace. "Should we go looking for these guys? They've been disappearing without a trace! Maybe they've been disappearing on purpose. They might be behind all this! And if they are we better go check it out! Maybe there having a big,but secret meeting about how they can make Gotham THERE OWN! And maybe there doing it at one of there old hideouts!" said Dick. "If they are doing that I'm the only one stopping it. It's a school night. Christmas vacation is over. Remember?" said Bruce who was getting ready to test Dicks advice and go to Falcone's old hideout. "You need to get some rest for tomorrow." said Bruce as he got into the bile and put his mask on. Once Batman got to Falcone's old hideout he went in by an upper window. But when he got into the building all the lights came on and Batman was hit with a dart in the chest. Right before he went to sleep he saw a figure come threw the door and stomp on his face. The next day back at Wayne Manor Dick had got ready for school and was know eating breakfast with Alfred. "Do you know where Bruce is, Alfie?" said Dick. "Sorry Master Richard but I do not. But I do know that we should be getting you in the car for your first day at Gotham Academy. If only that dreadful Blockbuster character hadn't hurt you so bad you could have started with all the other kids in September!" said Alfred. Meanwhile across town in the east end of Gotham Batman was just waking up and remembering what had happened last night. Batman also noticed that he was tied up to a sewer pipe. But right then Batman was untied off the sewer pipe and fell onto the ground. And then he saw a terrible site. Right in front of him was Professor Hugo Strange (One of Batman's oldest foes) and The Riddler. "What did you think you saved but is now in the middle of a riot, Batman? This city!" said Riddler. Then Batman looked down to get a Batarang  but noticed that he didn't have his belt. Then Strange came up to him and shot him in the arm with Black Window poison. "You shouldn't die from the poison, I took the worse part out."said Strange. But right after Strange said that loads of henchmen came from behind a corner. Right then they punched Batman into the water and kept punching him until he drowned. But in the middle of doing that Batman got a Batarang from his cape and threw it over the water and made it break a pipe. Right then a bunch of water came at everybody but Batman managed to get threw the brick wall behind them with his Explosive Gel before the water hit. But then he fell down from the poison and looked backed to see that all the henchmen were drowned but Nigma and Strange were gone. But at that point Batman was swept away with the water.  But at that moment he threw a Bat-Bomb out into the water. In two seconds it exploded and Batman was blown to the surface. And  after that he saw that his belt had been blown up to surface to. When he got his belt he called Alfred and gave him directions to where he was."Will you be able to come, Alfred? I can handle myself. First I need to get out of the street and into that ally. I do need one thing, though. Black Window poison antidote. We still have some leftover from are search for Poison Ivy threw the jungle!" said Batman. "Very well Master Bruce, I'm coming to get you right know! Master Dick is with me. Right after this I will drop him off at the Gotham Academy." said Alfred on the homing signal device. And right after that Batman ran into a nearby ally right before Police came....... The Amazing Spider-man

While attending a Radiation Demonstration High school student Peter Benjamin Parker was bitten by a spider that somehow was infected by the Radiation. Feeling dizzy Peter went out where he was almost hit by a car in the street. But somehow he had sensed it coming and jumped. What made him even more dizzy was that he was crawling up the side of a building. When he got to the top he was holding on to a pipe that he had somehow smashed. He couldn't make sense of anything thinking he might keep transforming into some sort of Spider monster. He soon made use of his powers by making money off of it. Putting on some jeans and some very old shirts and masks Peter took on Professional wrestler Crusher Hogan. After that Peter made a costume that fit him better and also web shooters that would make it seem like he could shoot webs. After that he went on TV to show people his amazing powers. After one of his shows Peter saw a police running after a burglar. Peter who was now not letting anyone boss him around anymore let the burglar pass saying to the police man "Not my problem". A few nights later when Peter was coming home from one of his shows he saw a police car parked in his drive-way. He heard that his Uncle Ben had been killed. He also heard that they had the killer surrounded in a old warehouse near there house. Right then Peter turned into Spider-man. He went right in the warehouse startling the killer from crawling down a wall. After taking down the killer Peter saw a terrible thing. It was the burglar who he didn't stop when he had the chance. And at that moment Peter understood "With great power there must also be Great responsibility" something his Uncle Ben had once told him. From that point on Peter vowed to use his powers to help our world. And from that point on Peter Benjamin Parker was... THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN!!!!!!!!

Mr. Twister's tornado of terror

The Teen Titans had become the most famous teen superhero group yet. But there was one thing missing. There leader Robin was on some important mission in Gotham. Which left Wonder Girl, Aqualad and Kid Flash alone in their secret cave. But in Gotham Dick also wanted to go back into his role as leader. "Master Dick are you sure you have to do this" said Alfred who somehow found the building Dick was on. "Bruce said that since he has a broken arm I have to be on patrol alone tonight. And how did you get up here." said Dick. But right before he could finish him and Alfred were blown off the building. Luckily Dick got hold of the building he was on and with the other got hold of Alfred and pulled him up. "Alfred quick, get back to the Manor as fast as you can."said Dick. Once Alfred was out of sight Robin got down to the sidewalk and saw something that almost made him faint. Right in front of him was a huge robot who could blow tornado's out of his hand. Right then Robin took out his batarang but the robot took him and threw him into a building. " Ha Ha Ha, silly humans. You should know that none of you are powerful enough to handle Mr. Twister!!!!!!!!!" said Mr. Twister. Right after that Dick dosed off. But meanwhile in California the Titans were now having problems with Mr. Twister. "Should we try and get help from Superman." said Aqualad. "Just shut up, gill brains. We can handle this. And were going to do it without Robin. Were still members of The Teen Titans. We can can still do this. TITANS TOGETHER!!!!!!!!" said Kid Flash who was also not sure if they could do it. Meanwhile back in Gotham Dick had gotten back to the cave. He was thinking very hard and then remembered his first mission with Kid Flash and Aqualad. "That's it. my first mission with Kid Flash and Aqualad was against a human Mr. Twister. I bet he made this more powerful robot to have revenge on us. So his robot should be in..... CALIFORNIA!" yelled Dick. Right then Dick got in one of the Bat-copters and was off. At that moment the other Titans had started a battle. Wonder girl got her laso around Twister while Kid-Flash ran around him to make him go in the air. Then Aqualad made a water ball and threw it at the robot. But his plan backfired. Twister took the water ball and made it into a huge tornado and threw at Aqualad who was knocked into a bus. "Take this" said Wonder girl and Kid Flash together. They both did the most powerful thing they could. Wonder girl gave a very powerful punch that no human could live threw. Then Kid Flash ran right threw the robot thinking he could see what made it operate. But instead was thrown into the bus with Aqualad. "I have to say I admire your never give up attitude, but you will die trying to beat me." said Mr. Twister. But right then something very heavy dropped into the robots back. Then it exploded. It turned out to be one Robin's Bat-bombs. And right over the robot came Robin. "Robin!!!!!!" all the other Titans yelled. "That robot should be down for good. I got it in the back where most machines have there wires!" said Robin. "Anyway we need to see where it got it's orders from. It could lead us to the other Mr. Twister if he's the one doing this." said Robin. Right then Robin went over to the robot and took out one of its wires. Then took out something from his belt and scanned the wire with it. "It says the orders were coming from mountains all the way over in Alaska!" said Robin. Then again Robin took a different device and in seconds the Bat-plane came hovering over them. Then he put his mouth close to the device and said "Send back Bat-copter" and at once the Bat-copter was going back in the direction of Gotham. "Come on team." said Robin happily. It took long hours for them to get to Alaska but what made the trip even more long was Kid-Flash. "Are we their yet" Kid-Flash kept saying. When they got to Alaska Aqualad started shaking. Aqualad's gills were underdeveloped so he could only last a hour out of the water, and at this moment his hour was up. " Water water water." said Aqaulad. Then Kid-Flash ran away. And came back with a plastic bottle of water. "I went to Japan just for fun." said Kid-Flash. "Hey you guys if you hold on to my hands I can laso all of us up at the same time." said Wonder girl. And within minutes they were all up the mountain but now they wished they have gone back to there secret cave. Because right in front of them were 400 Mr. Twister robots. The silver age 1956-1968
With the new modernized versions of the original Justice Society characters, new editor Julius Schwartz decided to bring back the Justice Society. But instead since Schwartz liked baseball he called them The Justice League of America. So in The Brave and Bold 28 J.L.A. debuted seen tangled in the tentacles of the   alien starfish Starro. At the end 1960 J.L.A. got there own comic series. Also in the The silver age  there were a lot of  comics that were made for teens such as Swing with Scooter, Pat Boone and Teen Beat. And comedy comics were still being published. Adventure comics were selling very well since they had been making Superboy. And in their two hundred seventy first issue  the fans got a chance to see Clark Kent and Lex Luthor met. In this issue Lex appears with a full head of hare and was friends with Clark's other ego Superboy. But all his hair falls out when he is making a kryptonite antidote and fumes knock all his hair out. Another big silver age thing happened in May of 1964 in Detective comics 327. Writer John Broome and new artist Carmine Infantino saved Detective comics from cancelation with the new look Batman witch debuted the yellow ellipse around the Bat-emblem. This look was also presented in the Adam West tv show. The 1960's were a very big time for Batman with Poison Ivy being made in 66 and in 69 Dick Grayson going off to college. In the year of Batman getting his new look in The Brave and The Bold 54 Robin, Kid Flash and Aqulad get called to helped a Teenage rights movement in Hatton Corner. But when they find out that all the teenagers have been captured by Mr. Twister they team up to find Mr. Twister and rescue all the teenagers. Though at this time they did not have a team name they would soon be called The Teen Titans. Also in the Silver age not many of the real famous villains were shown in many comics. Batman faced one of his biggest villains yet in 66, The Blockbuster ( Mark Desmond ). Being rescued by a young Bruce Wayne from almost sinking into quicksand Mark thought of himself being scrawny. At an older age he made a serum that would make him taller, bigger and stronger. But threw the process of going threw his body he became a mindless brute. Batman and Robin tackled with him in Detective comics 349 finding out that he can only be relaxed by sight of Bruce Wayne. In 1967 Barbra Gorden was introduced to the family of DC characters In Detective comics 359. While trying to get into a costume ball Barbra sews herself a costume that looks almost alike to Batman's. At the ball protecter of the underworld Killer Moth shows up and is gonna take Bruce Wayne hostage when Barbra jumps into action. Later getting help from Batman and Robin she was granted a partnership with them and Batman said that her helped will be needed. I do consider that The Silver age was one of my favorite comic times. It's was really a treat going threw it with you. Nuff said!

The legacy of comic book's and why the world needs them

Comics books may seem like some sort of corny book that was made along time ago, but really comics were what kept peoples head high during the great depression and world war two. And today they still do that. So today's topic is... THE LEGACY OF COMIC BOOKS.

 The golden age of comics.
1938-1951
 The golden age of comics was loaded with war stories such as Captain America,Boy Commandos and many more. Batman would sometimes have [ buy war bonds and stamps ] on his cover, while Superman, Robin and Batman where throwing baseballs at Hitler. But the golden age also had most of their characters made in that time period. such as the original Flash, Green lantern, Atom,Clay Face, Mister Terrific, Black Canary and Star Sapphire. But another thing that happened in that time was the making of the Justice League of America. But it wasn't called Justice League. It was called The Justice Society of America. 
The only people who were not in it were Superman, Batman and Robin and Wonder Women. At the end of the 40's The Riddler was made in Detective Comics 140. Robin also got a solo career in Star Spangled comics 65. In the 1950's The Justice Society wasn't really known anymore. But there were new comic series being made such as "The Brave and the Bold" and "Showcase". And new characters like Krypto, Ace the Bat-hound and Mr. Zero, now known as Mr. Freeze. Also after the Justice Society had ended other types of comic books came out like monster comics, romance comics, western comics and sci-fi comics. Julius Schwartz and Gardner Fox were some of the most Important people in the DC industry. Julius decided sometime in 1956 to bring back some of old Justice Society of America characters. So they made a modernized version of The Flash (Barry Allen) and a new Green Lantern (Hal Jordan). And along with those characters many others. But not only were there new characters there was also a new age of comics.

A dead bird part one

Jason Todd's role as the boy wonder wasn't working out. They had just finished off Two-Face and Jason got out of control. When they got back to the cave, Jason told Bruce he had found out that his dad was killed by Two-Face while looking at his file, but that same night they got him. Bruce, looking forward to how Jason would handle Dent this time. Jason let the law give him his punishment. Batman thought everything was going to be alright. But it actually made things worse. Jason's encounter with Dent gave him no peace. Will this be the first wrong turn for Robin, or the last? Find out in... A DEAD BIRD! Jason Todd's second year as Robin. Times change and people have to change with them. The Dark Night gets darker, boy wonder gets tougher. The dynamic duo was tracking down some drug dealers, Jason was giving Bruce a sign that they shouldn't have come. But right then one of the dealers took out a gun and tried to shoot but Robin was to fast for him! "This thing fires off Twenty rounds a second.. and you were still to slow" said Robin. Then Robin flipped an kneed the two dealers in the chest. Then another dealer pulled out a gun and said "I'm not slow punk". Then Batman got out his Bat-Rope and said "I've got him". But right then Robin jumped up and shattered the the guys collarbone. "ROBIN" Batman yelled. The ride to the Bat-cave was one of great silence. When they got there they started talking. "Alright Jason spill it, give me answers on why you completely lost you're cool back there. Everything I taught you out the window." said Bruce. " He's a drug dealing pimp, what the heck did you expect!" said Jason. "YOU SHATTERED HIS COLLARBONE! THERE WERE TEN DIFFERENT WAYS YOU COULD HAVE ENDED THAT. NONE OF THEM INVOLED THAT TIPE OF DAMAGE." said Batman. "You're right, that was dumb. But that doesn't mean he didn't deserve it." said Jason. Then Jason walked away. And that was the first time they Bruce knew, That Jason Todd was not Dick Grayson.

The rainbow Batman

Two months ago Batman and Robin battled one of there most dangerous villains of all time, the Firefly, the man of a thousand lights. And now he's back again. But this time the dynamic duo are ready in..... THE RAINBOW BATMAN! Down in the Bat-cave secretly located under a barn near Wayne Mayor, Batman and Robin are getting ready to bust some lip. But Batman is doing some weird things to his costume. "But, Batman. Last night you wore the green costume.. and tonight you're wearing the red! Why!" said Robin. "I must, Robin.. I must wear a different colored Batman costume each night! Said Bruce. Then they were off. Firefly was at the bank using his red prisma ray to open the volt. But the dynamic duo were all ready there. Then Firefly shot his red ray straight at Batman, but nothing happened. "You're red prisma ray is useless against objects of the same color. The rainbow rampage is over Firefly!" said Batman. " Smart changing the color of you're costume each night to neutralise my power. But you forget, I'm the man of a thousand lights"! said Firefly. Then he shot out all his colors and a gigantic rainbow creature. The dynamic duo threw everything the had at it. Any thing they threw at it would melt, freeze, or something else strange. "Each color has it's own strange power." said Robin. Then Robin got hit by the green light and turned into a two dimensional being. "You're gone Batman, my creature has cornered you." said Firefly. "Then it's a good thing I made another alterasion to my costume!" said Batman. Then Batman changed his costume from just red on it to having all the colors on it. Now each color the Rainbow creature shot wouldn't work. Then Batman jump up and kicked it, and punched Firefly. Then Robin became his normal shape again. "Unfortunately the effect was only temporary". Then Robin added on " But Firefly's going up the river permanently".

the life of Jason Todd, the teen wonder

It has been six months since Bruce Wayne put street kid Jason Todd under the role of Robin the teen wonder. But in these six months there have been some weird twists and turns. But finally we come to the day when all the training is done, and everybody knows what to do. And the most important thing of all... Jason Todd is happy. One day Jason was walking down the street feeling the leaves blow in the wind, while happily walking back to Wayne manor. But right then a man yelled, "help, somebody. That cars a runaway." But right when Jason heard the man yelling he noticed that a women and her baby were walking down the same street. Then Jason pushed the woman and her baby out of the way. When they got to the other side of the road the man said to the woman, "Are you okay. My breaks failed." "I'm fine. That boy saved me," said the lady. "Don't sweat it... it was nothing," Jason said. When Jason got back to the manor the first place he went to was the cave. "Hello master Jason, I thought you would've been here hours ago," said Alfred. "I saved this lady from getting hit by a runaway car. Where's Bruce," said Jason. ", Out discussing some things about Killer Croc to Commissioner Gorden," Alfred said. Jason and Alfred had a talk to pass the time while Bruce was gone. In the talk Jason got some information that he had never got before. Like before Alfred was a butler he was a actor in England. But right when Alfred was going to say something else, Bruce was there. "I think that's enough of your penny's worth psychology, Alfred, "Bruce said. "Oh god, I may faint from shock, master Bruce. Was that a pun you just maid." Alfred said. "He's just joking, Bruce. Apparently he does that sometimes" said Jason. "Are you ready Jason." "You bet!" "Then there's the costume, put it on," Bruce said. And finally all tests and the training had came to use. Jason smiles when he puts on the mask. The kind of smile Robin, the teen wonder would do. Just another kid on Crime alley

A young boy from the streets of crime alley had just been dropped off at a school in Crime Alley . But when young Jason Todd went in to the school there was a big problem. But at the same time Batman was hoping that what he just did was the right move and that Jason Todd wasn't... just another kid on Crime alley. Batman was riding in the bat-mobile still thinking about Jason and if he had other smarts then stealing tires. When Bruce got back Alfred asked him how could the boy stole the tires off the bat-mobile. And Bruce said", we put on those new tires and I didn't finish redesigning the hub caps". ", There for leaving the hub caps exposed" said Alfred. Meanwhile at Ma Gunns school for boys Jason is having a lot more trouble then Batman thought. ",We've got a new pupil, luvs. Batman sent 'im... Now, who wants to stuff the little stoolie for old Ma" Ma Gunn said slowly. Then all the guys started coming around Jason saying they would give him a swimming lesson where he holds his breath for a very long time under water. But most of them got the words wrong and got a pinch from Ma. Then all the kids started a fight but Jason still took the first anything. But there were still to many people on the other side and Jason got all of them piled on top of him. ",Spunky little bloke" Ma said to Jason. Next morning play boy Bruce Wayne was looking for a copy of Jason Todd parents files. And he finally found a court house with prints of the Todd family. He asked the lady on the computer if he could get some prints on the Todd parents.But when he was walking out his stroke off luck was out. Because Viki Vale saw him and started getting all into his day. On the way out of the court house Viki asked Bruce if he would want to join her on her interview on Crime Alley. And Bruce agreed hoping this wouldn't be like another date. When they got to Crime Alley the first place they went to was, Ma Gunns school for boys. But there were already some people there so they had to wait. When they all the other people went out and Ma saw Bruce and Viki, Viki said ", I have a few followup questions for my article--but I didn't want to interrupt your television debut!" Viki said.", Your becoming quite a media star" Bruce said. Then Ma welcomed them in to her school. Ma and Bruce had a talk about how to run a school alone in Crime Alley. When Viki and Bruce left Ma got back to the real lesson. Which was why a revolver is better then a automatic. And Right in the middle of class Freddy [ one of the kids ] started smoking weed. And right when Ma saw him doing it she smacked him and said", how many times do I have to tell you.. never do dope". Then old Ma picked up a bottle of beer and said", stick with booze boys". And then one of the kids wanted to have some trust and wanted to try some right away. But Ma stopped him and said", ah ah ah boys, we will need your heads nice and clear for the big robbery tonight". And right at that moment Jason was thinking", this old dame is batty.That night as Jason drops out of school [ which means literally dropping out of a building on a rope ] the Batman is meting Jim Gorden for some important information on the Todds. ", Here are your print outs on the Todd family", Gorden said. Gorden told Batman that That Willis Todd was a flunky for Two-Face and that Dent shot him for failing a mission. But Jim asked Batman what was his interest in the Todd family. And Batman said", its personal Jim". But right at that moment two college kids were out in Crime Alley trying to score some.. ya know. But the guys they were trying to get it from stole there money and they both got knocked down to the ground. But right when the guys who stole the money were about to scatter Batman flew in and gave them a taste of there own medisin. Then he got the others guys up and told them", go home. keep your noses clean, and your butts out of Crime alley". When Batman was walking back to see how Jason was doing he ran into a guy that got his tires stole. And Batman said ", I think I know who did this Sir.",. And sure enough he was right. Jason Todd stole the tires. But when Batman found Jason he wasn't at Ma Gunns. He was in his room with his headphones on reading a book. Batman took the head gear off Jason's ears and said", you didn't keep your end of the bargain",. ", Like Hell" Jason yelled. Then Batman asked Jason why he wasn't at Ma Gunns and Jason said", ha! Swell school you enrolled me in! It's a kindergarten for crime.". And as they return the tires The Batman hears an incredible tale about Ma Gunn. But when they return the tires to the man, the man and the Batman are to late to see Jason go away. In fact the man didn't even see Jason. But Batman had some crime busting he needed to do with Ma Gunn and her boys. Meanwhile Ma Gunn and her boys are at the museum. One of the kids knocked out the guard of the front door. When they were walking down the hallway there were all these big ruby's and crystals all over the place. And they finally got to the rocks they were looking for. And they were the same rocks the Joker was after the day before yesterday, when there was a Robin. Ma Gunn was looking right at the crystal necklace and was right in front of it but the Bat always comes in on time. Batman kicked the first kid in the face while he was still on his grapple hook. And the second kid got kneed and punched in the face. But then Ma hit Batman on the head with a purse but Batman still wasn't knock out. ", You wouldn't hit a poor old lady would you Batman", Ma Gunn said hoping he would not see the gun behide her back. ", Never" Batman said while he had punched Ma Gunn. And with that one punch old Ma was taking a six hour nap. But there was still one kid he needed to get, Freddy who he didn't see. But Freddy saw Batman from way up in the air. Freddy was up on one of the giant diamond platforms. And he was about to push the giant diamond on the Batman. But luckily Jason came in a few minutes after Batman was under the platform and Jason said", Batman look out!". Batman jumped out of the way. Then Freddy jumped down to a way lower platform to fight Jason. But Jason totally mocked the floor with Freddy. When Batman and Jason got out of the museum Batman asked Jason ", how did you get in to the museum". ", Same as you, throw the roof" Jason said. ", Why didn't you call the police", Batman asked. ", Wheres the fun in that" Jason said. Then Batman took Jason to the bat-mobile and let Jason ride in it. ", You know, if you turn me over to the social workers, well...the chances of a kid my age findin a decent home are slim..." Jason said. And Batman ended up saying", don't bet on it... Robin". DON'T FAIL TO SEE IF JASON TODD SUCCEEDS IN HIS FIRST MISSION AS ROBIN!!! UNTIL NEXT TIME...

The Ending of Dick Grayson, The First Boy Wonder

A long time ago there was a circus. It was called the Haly Circus. Tragic things happened that night when a young boy's parents fell from the trapeze. The young boy was put under the wing of a man and a butler. The young boy had to settle down because of a terrible fact about the man. The man was a terrible monster that stoked the night in this city. And one night the boy joined the mans crusade and became his partner in crime. But in 1981 it was all over. And the crusader and the boy departed. And the age of a new Robin was a day ahead. The end of Dick Grayson the first Boy Wonder!! One night Batman and Robin were running after Joker, one of their best criminals. Robin was about to punch Joker. But when he was about to do it Joker rapped a rope around Robin's ankle and shot him in the shoulder when Batman wasn't looking. Robin almost fell off the building, but Batman got him before he hit the ground. Then Batman had just got Joker and dropped him off at Arkham Asylum. Dick had almost broke all the bones in his body. After they got back to the manor the dead Robin thing was all over the papers. Dick really got on himself about what he could have don . Bruce really got on Dick for what he did. And after that it was all over and Dick found his new destiny, to become Nightwing. And it was settled, Dick was out of Bruce's world. But Bruce and Dick were still the best of friends, in fact after the talk Bruce gave Dick some good advise on becoming your destiny. After that Bruce turned into Batman and went over to the police station to see Gorden. When he came went throw the window as always him and Gorden started talking. The first thing that Gorden said was", is Robin dead". And him and Batman went on and on about it. Batman said that Robin wasn't literally dead but to all intents and purposes he was. Batman and Gorden talk for at least 15 more minutes and then Batman went back out the window. The next day Bruce remembered that he had a brunch date with Viki Vale that noon so he had to get ready. When he got to the place Viki was already there and had her food. Viki said she wanted him to help her to chair the committee of concerned citizens against the Batman. And Bruce disagreed with Viki. When they got up they walked throw one of the parts of Gotham. While Viki was still talking Bruce saw some people stealing a persons wallet with the person not knowing. Bruce went up to the guy that got his wallet taken and said [ sir, would you mind checking for your wallet?] and the man replied [ what is th-- hey ! My wallets gone! how did you--]. Then Bruce started running after the guys who took the mans wallet. When he tried to fight he remembered that if he fights to good people will know his secret. So Bruce ended up losing the fight. After that Viki Vale came right up to him and said that it was foolish of him to get involved but she loved him for it.But Bruce still got the wallet and returned it to the man. The date thing was over for the after noon and now Bruce had something he had to do, as the Batman!! That day was the day that Bruce Wayne's parents were murdered. And that is the reason it's called crime alley. So every time this day comes around Batman goes to crime alley and walks all over it. But this time after he was in front where all the people were he went deep into crime alley where he found Ma,Gunns school for boys, one of the best and most known schools in crime alley. Batman and Ms. Gunn had a long talk and Batman had been hearing a lot of good things about Ma Gunn. When he had got back to the bile that night he did something he would have never done before. Batman had started laughing, because the tiers from the bile were gone. Then a 14 year old boy came back and saw Batman. ", I see you've came back to finish the job" said Batman. Then the Batman ask the kid if he would give him the tires back. Then the kid got rebellious and said", who says". Then Batman saw that the boy had a crowbar and said ", whats with the crowbar, kid". Then the kid said", this" and hit Batman in the stomach with his crowbar. Batman let the kid run so he could see where he hides at. Batman had found the kids home, it was a an abandon building that was filled with posters and graffiti. When Batman found the kids room the kid was smoking. Batman told the kid that smoking would stop his growth. The kid was really pissed off that Batman kept on bothering him so he said ", take your stupid tires and get out of my room". But Batman got the kid to come and put the tires back to the bile. While the kid was putting the tires back on he told Batman his story and his name. And his name was Jason Todd. Jason told Batman that his mother was diagnosed with cancer and he tried to take care of her as much as he could. Then Batman ask him about school and Jason said [i graduated a long time ago-- from the streets of crime alley]. Then Batman thote about a real school for Jason and remembered Ma, Gunns school for boys. Then Batman and Jason had a talked about real school. And then Batman told Jason that they would make a deal that he would have to go to school even if he didn't want to. So Batman took Jason to Ma, Gunn so he would be nice and smart. Then when they got there Jason waved good bye to Batman, and Batman waved good bye to Jason. But when Jason went inside there where a bunch of guys who started coming around Jason and Ma Gunn was smoking a sager. And Jason found out Ma Gunn was really bad!! UNTIL NEXT TIME...

The origin of Dick Grayson the first boy wonder part five

Batman and now a Robin were in the bile and Batman had told robin to put this paper boy costume on while he went and got some clues. Dick ask why and Batman said so you could get some clues for your self. Then Batman drop Dick off and said" I'm gonna let you do this one on your own, if you hear anything on Zucco just call me on your Bat phone, but don't go off fighting them alone, your not that good".

After that Dick walk off to find some people that would bye his papers. He waited half an hour and then he saw some guys coming at him. They said he would get paid but he had to pay them first. So Dick acted scared and paid, then he went back to the cave. Then Dick told Bruce what happened. Then when Dick went to bed Bruce looked up all of Zucco's henchmen.When Dick got up The next morning Bruce asked him to come down in the Bat-cave and eat breakfast. Dick didn't get why he was in this place until Bruce said to come over to the computer. When Dick did Bruce showed him all the henchmen of Zucco and Dick saw the two guys who asked him for a news paper and Dick said" those are the guys who I saw last night",. That night Dick went out again and this time Batman would come with him. Robin asked Batman if he could were his Robin costume under the paper boy costume. When Robin got out he put his detective mode on so he could scan people to see if they hanged out with Zucco. And all the people he saw that night were talking about something that had to deal with Zucco. He couldn't hear them all the way because they were so far away so he followed them without being seen. Meanwhile Batman was going to every place in this little that was owned by Zucco which was everything. The first place he went to was a old corner store that was still going. When he jumped throw the the guys there were about to leave. But when they saw Batman the ran right at him. The first guy who came at Batman got kicked in the ribs and got a whole side busted.The second guy who came at Batman got nee kicked out the window. Batman gave the owner of the shop his money back and then looked in the henchmen's wallet. And he saw a i.d. and it said Zucco on it. He didn't know why it said Zucco on it but it was a clue. So he went to a lot of places that Zucco owned now and trashed all of them so he could get to Zucco quicker. The last place he went to was bar and a restaurant were people were gambling. When he got to the door the person behind asked him what is the pass word? But after the guy asked Batman kicked the door open and when every body saw him in there 40 people ran at him so they could kill him. Batman called Robin on his phone when nobody was on him. He told Dick that Zucco was going to a construction sight. Then Batman had everybody on him again and it broke his phone. So Dick ended up putting his Robin suit on and went over to the construction sight, now here's where the action starts. When robin went over there he saw that Zucco and his gang where planing to take down the building and build something else there. Then Robin flips off the building he was on and does a triple air kick. Then he flipped over another guy pushed off of his back. Then he took his bat-rope and hit one of the guys in the face. Robin ended up getting punched in the face and started falling. Then luckily Robin graved one of the boards that was up there. Then one of the mobsters came and was about to step on Robins fingers but then Robin flipped over to the other side of the board and kicked the guy in the back and then the guy fell onto a walk way that was up there. Then a lot of them came at so they would block his eye sight. And right then one of guys went away from Robin and took out there gun. But right when he was about to shoot the Batman glided down to the and kicked him while he was still in the air. Then Batman flipped over to Robin and took his hands and swung Robin over, then Robin did a flying jump kick which knocked all the mobsters down. When they came down they saw the police were already taking Zucco to jail so there work here was over. When they got back Bruce asked Dick", do you want to go back to the circus now". ",I think me and my parents both want me to stay in crime fighting" Dick said. And that was the start of Robin the boy wonder.
