Bruce Wayne had attended a engagement party for his business friends Carol Gabby and Bob Simon."It's great to see you Carol!!" said Bruce when he saw her. "How you been, Carol? I'm very happy for you and Bob.". "Thank you Bruce. How are you and Julie?" said Carol. "Couldn't be better!". "Look Bruce, me and Bob were wondering if you were available tonight and wanted to see a play with us. Would you want to go with us, Bruce?". Bruce looked into the sky. It was pitch black. "Sorry Carol, but I have some thing's to do. Say hi to Bob for me, okay."Bruce said. he went into a back alley and changed. Gotham was quiet that night. Batman didn't have much to do. But then, someone screamed. Batman glided toward the scream. And then he saw it. A man was beating a woman. "I hate you!!!!" said the man. "You won't get away with that you little bi......." the man was cut off by a kick in the head by Batman. But Batman lost his balance after the kick and fell. When he got to his feet The man had a gun at the woman's head. Batman didn't know what to do. The thick cold metal point blank at the lady's temple. This was Batman's first hostage situation. Batman took out a Batarang. Now the gun was nearly in the lady's head. "I'll shoot her, I'm serious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!". Batman threw the batarang at the man. The man dodge it. He shot the woman. Batman closed in. The man shot Batman. All Bruce could feel was his whole body begin to foam. His mind went dead. He was shot in the heart........
